The L and P kits vary in components. The L model employs a DDC pump with 38mm thick rad, while the P version uses a D5 pump with 40mm thick rad. Both versions may represent first or second generation units, though it's unclear if this is the intended classification as both remain available. These kits are essentially different.

The L and P kits differ in design. The L model uses a DDC pump with 38mm thick rad, while the P version features a D5 pump and 40mm thick rad. Edit: also Supremacy MX block. They might represent first or second generation, though it's unclear if that's their intended classification since both remain available. The choice between L or P doesn't matter; it's the version that defines them.

Find the connection to the v1 kit. You can review it for comparison, but I'll remain committed to supporting EK versus H100.

Mainly the pump, DDC in version 2 versus DCP in version 1, though the DCP remains a type of DDC...just a less efficient or lower wattage version.

Thanks, I believe you didn't grasp my question. My inquiry is only about the package color. Since the seller doesn't know if the cooler is version 1 or 2?

Seller, (EKWB) understands whether it is v1 or v2, which explains why it appears as v2 in the second update. The buyer might not be aware. Color choices aren't fixed; other product lines use orange and green schemes too. Each version has its strengths, so this shouldn't cause worry—manufacturers often phase out products and introduce updates for reasons like cost or supply differences. Understanding the components inside each kit is more important than the version itself.
