hey guys, need some assistance with water cooling setup. I plan to start with the CPU and save the GPU later. I bought the Ek Waterblock for CPU 250 RPM and was considering this pump from Scan. I’m not sure what sizes to choose or what tubing to use—though I thought maybe 2 360mm when the GPU is installed, but right now I’m just thinking about 1 360mm. I’m really unsure about the right size tubing since there are so many options.

G1/4 is the thread size. ID/OD is the tubing size. There is a section that covers this in the watercooling sticky.

Obtain a dimension that matches the connectors. Check it and then select one with the identical diameter.

You're asking about getting a size that matches the connectors, measuring it first, and then selecting one with the same diameter. You also want to clarify what you mean by "connector" and whether you've already ordered any.

Choose a size that matches the connectors. Measure carefully and then select one with the same diameter.
What do you mean connector? Are you referring to the fittings? If so, I haven’t ordered any yet.
Yes, everything needs to fit snugly together; it would have been simpler to go with a h60 since it already has all the necessary parts inside.

They are asking about the size needed for connectors and whether they should match the existing diameter. They also mention having a closed loop but are unsure which tubing to choose.

Yes, everything needs to fit tightly; it would have been simpler to choose a H60 since it already has everything you need inside.
We already have a closed loop, but we want a custom one—just no idea which tubing to pick.
Get rubber tubing

I'm trying to understand what you're asking about connectors. Are you referring to the fittings or something else? If not, I haven't placed any orders yet. It seems we need a size that fits the connectors properly. The diameter should match exactly.

Yes, it all needs to connect tightly; it would have been easier to choose a h60 since it has everything you need already inside.
We already have a closed loop, but we want a custom one—just don’t know which tubing to pick.
Consider getting rubber tubing.
Yes, but there are many different sizes like 10/13.
I’m not sure what size to choose.
