The hardware I'm using with the EK Evo nickel water block is making me uncertain.
There are two packs of four-mount screws, one labeled 'M4 mounting studs' for an LGA2011 CPU and another called 'M4 threaded thumb screws' which match my model. However, it doesn't specify which set corresponds to which CPU... Both appear similar, but the sizes differ slightly, yet they both fit through the four holes on the motherboard. I'm not sure which one to choose.

Share a connection to your block? I possess the EKWB Supremacy Evo Red Harbinger Edition along with the necessary screws for the LGA 115x platform, which will necessitate using the backplate (featuring the rubber/silicone gasket placed between the backplate and the motherboard's PCB). The LGA2011 screw thread must be inserted into the socket screw points on the board itself, such as on X79/X99 platforms.

I understand, I need to use that backplate. It's a bit confusing which side of it faces the gasket and then the back of the motherboard... Also, your question about the LGA2011 screw thread into the socket points on the board itself is unclear.

Oh, and I'm still confused. I installed the MB in my case and connected the cables, assuming I could mount the EK block to the 9900K and pass it through the MB to the gasket/backplate. Just let me know.
EDIT.... I finally got the block gasket/backplate installed with the right screws (the bigger ones) and the MB in the case!!! (I have long arms!). Now I just need to attach the EK block to the screws... News at 11...

Block is now connected to the CPU. Progress, amazing considering my beginner level. The main challenge is fitting my EK pump/res onto the case—very tight space. Either it will go onto one of the front 140mm fans, or we need to drill holes and mount it on the back wall behind the MB to the right of the case...

I understand we've had a big discussion in PM about your build, but great effort getting help from the forum. You got useful advice from my friend Lutfij.

Hey rubix.... my main cook and bottle-washer!! You're awesome!
Yes, I'm active on many tech forums... AnandTech, HardOp, Asus, Phanteks, EVGA... I don't care who I help, I challenge everyone!
Using Dropbox, trying to upload my photos to my computer.
EDIT.... Wow, connected phone connected to the computer, and in a moment, DropBox took all the new photos. Now I need to set permissions so you can view them...

Uncertain about Dropbox's functionality, but it should support right-clicking and viewing images. As long as you can copy and paste the image link, you should be able to share it using standard brackets and img tags.
If you format them properly, the forum will conceal the code. Otherwise, you can use the full edit/reply feature to add the tags yourself.
I use IMGUR.com for hosting images online, though there are many alternatives. I’d prefer not to use Photobucket since their pricing has increased significantly.

No problem, I got your Dropbox shares in my email. Looking good - almost ready to fill once you get the last tubing run made.
