Hey everyone. Do you have any tips or stories about using Steam for in-home streaming? I’m planning to set up my old computer as a media PC and use it to stream games directly to my TV. So far I’ve struggled to find recent guides or info on the topic. If anyone knows videos that cover this setup or the network needs, please share them. Let me know if you’ve had success with it—what worked or what didn’t. Also, I’m curious if my current system can handle it without major upgrades like a new power supply, RAM, or cooler. Thanks for any advice!

The ideal setup uses a Gigabit cable for optimal performance. Your system supports decoding H.264 streams, which you should be able to handle.
