I recently purchased a new PC equipped with an RTX 5070. At the store everything looked normal. But once I brought it home and connected it to my monitor, the screen began flickering black and displayed "DisplayPort" in the top left corner. I attempted several solutions: 1. Replaced the DisplayPort cable with a Ugreen one, but the issue continued. 2. Disabled G-Sync and tried enabling Instant Replay + Display Capture, which resolved the flickering. However, when switching to a Chrome tab (usually just YouTube for music, not streaming sites), Instant Replay turned off, likely due to DRM, causing the flickering to restart. This situation is quite frustrating. Do I need a new monitor or is this just a software problem? Here are my system details: Monitor – Samsung Odyssey G4 using DisplayPort version 1.2. Old PC (no flickering with this monitor): CPU – Intel Core i9-12900F; GPU – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. New PC (experiencing flickering): CPU – Intel Core i5-14600KF; GPU – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070. The NVIDIA app claims it's current, though I'm a bit uncertain about the display.

Have you experimented with a previous version of the software?

Ciao, capisco che tu abbia lo stesso problema! Il monitor è G4 Odissey e stai cercando una soluzione per Nvidia 5070. Hai già provato qualcosa di simile? Sembra che tu possa essere un po' sopraffatto.

this happens whenever full screen, alt tabbing, or sometimes just clicking the monitor causes a brief black flash. I fixed it by enabling gsync on the monitor, app, and game. Also, making sure the Samsung Odyssey G4 and the new RX 5070 Ti drivers are up to date seems important. It might be a driver issue or possibly a bad batch from Samsung.
