I got a used MSI monitor from my uncle before he passed away. I haven’t used it much lately due to life circumstances. In the meantime, there’s a faint shadow only on the left side of the screen. Should I consider getting a new one? My main use is for a small PC I rely on for managing music, though it’s actually quite bothersome. It seems to be working fine for now, but I’m worried it might signal a bigger issue that could worsen over time. For clarity, the shadow stretches from the far left of the screen to the gray background at the top of forum posts. Thanks for checking in. I really enjoy this site and its community. Love you!

Consider purchasing a replacement or checking if the internal LED strip can be swapped out.

I understand what you're referring to. Could you provide more details?
