Checking if Watch Dogs improves with mods depends on your preferences. Many players find additional content enhances the experience, though it can also complicate gameplay. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you enjoy customization and mod support.
There will definitely be critics, so you need to decide who to trust for your comparison. I posted a video about it here: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=393192
I don't recall many mods beyond the one that promised disabled settings (I didn't notice much change) and the nice FX filter. If you can get it for a low price—probably during sales or at places like g2a—it's worth trying. On one GPU, performance isn't terrible, and the game runs smoothly enough. It's mostly straightforward, not very engaging, but it's still playable.
They say it's not too bad anymore. I purchased it at a low price, but I haven't used it yet.
@lovingGamer - Give the stealth mode a shot; I never fought in the main story, relied on hacks, takedowns, and blackouts to progress. There are plenty of ways to finish missions, and stealth really stands out. I’m not claiming WD is the best game ever, but it’s definitely enjoyable depending on your approach. The crafting system is great, and some mini-games add a nice twist. Only 40 songs are available, which feels a bit disappointing. With mods, it still feels like you’re in a city setting. It’s not quite GTA, but this is Ubisoft’s first foray into the genre. The NPCs often discuss CTOS, which seems misleading—most of the chatter revolves around that topic. I’d love to see a more natural experience like in GTA.
