Watch Dogs
I’d wait until prices drop during Steam sales in the fall or winter. Someone mentioned they played it for around 30 minutes, which seemed reasonable. I tried a bit longer but eventually gave up. I honestly didn’t enjoy the experience much. Performance on my GTX 670 wasn’t too bad, but the game itself didn’t feel engaging.
It's a poorly optimized Ubisoft update designed to make consoles look better, turning a can of coke into a character with more flair than the main figure. The narrative feels confusing and lacks coherence. You're meant to be a hero, yet you often end up hurting innocents. The storyline is weak—thugs and a civilian call for help, but both sides clash against you. The driving experience is completely off, except when riding a motorcycle, which offers some satisfaction. Most of all, I'm frustrated with Ubisoft. Yes, there are positive aspects, like the expansive map and side missions that can be enjoyable. The first few hours feel engaging, but after that it becomes repetitive and nonsensical. I’d prefer a discounted complete version in the future.
I use an i7 3930k with a 4.2 ghz overclock, 64mb RAM, and a GTX 670 GPU. It’s not performing well—definitely wait for updates before buying.
64mb of RAM? That rig sounds old, but Watch Dogs does have high-resolution textures—even if they don’t look great. It makes sense that a 670 wouldn’t run it smoothly. The 3930K works well, but the game is more limited by graphics than by processing power.
