Is Modern Warfare still worth it?
I considered getting it when it was released, but I never did. Now, according to what I've heard, the game has been significantly affected by the campers, tryhards, long wait times before accessing a game, and the lack of updates.
I also live in the EU and worry that the lobby might be dominated by Russian players for some reason.
I’ve never played a COD game on PC before, so I’m likely to struggle when I first try it.

lol you just covered every Call of Duty and almost any other multiplayer shooter, right? I still enjoy playing with friends. If you're looking for a quick fix, it's definitely worth trying. You can use a controller if that helps, yeah?

There's definitely camping in pretty much in every map. However, I dont really let that stop me from playing, most of the time its fun. I also dont find the queues to be long, always been under a minute for me. But I do live in Canada, so I am not sure if EU is different.
Once you figure out the maps, you'll start to pick up where people tend to camp so it starts to get more interesting.

The camping is a common trope in every Call of Duty title. I mainly enjoy hardcore Search & Destroy and haven’t faced much trouble with camping.
I favor games with slower pacing and team-based matches; domination isn’t my style. I like the battlefield but understand why some players prefer cod.
If you can get a decent price, it’s worth trying. I wouldn’t pay full price right now, but I always avoid paying full price for a cod game.
