I've been trying to enjoy Warzone at high frame rates, but my setup hasn't delivered the results I expected.
At first, I used an I7 9700 (non k), EVGA 3070 TI, and 16GB 2666 RAM on a single stick, running the game from a hard drive. I was consistently achieving around 70-90 FPS at 1440p.
Recently, I upgraded my motherboard to an Aorus Z-590 Ultra, installed an I9 11900K, kept the same RAM and used the game on the hard drive. My frame rate has slightly improved to 100-120 FPS or higher (adjusting settings from low to high still gives a small boost of about +/- 10-15 fps, still within the 100-120 range).
I keep checking YouTube for top graphics and Windows configurations for Warzone, as well as other players with similar specs. Their frame rates are usually at least 140+ FPS, with CPU temps around 55°C and GPU temps near 65°C.
I've experimented with various PC power settings, set the executable to high performance, and adjusted the render worker count from 4 to 8 (rebooting the game each time for different numbers).
I have two suggestions that might help:
Install faster RAM and enable dual-channel mode at 3600 MHz (using two 16GB sticks).
Switch the game to an SSD.
Use a 144Hz monitor.
I think these adjustments could make a noticeable difference. If anyone has tips on improving performance before upgrading, I'd appreciate it. These new components seem to be underperforming significantly.

Hey there,
You're right about where you can improve performance. Single V Dual channel is a solid base. The performance gap can vary between 5-20% depending on the task, but it generally offers a noticeable increase in most games.
Using an SSD will definitely speed up load times. It won't affect frame rates directly.

Did you reinstall Windows after replacing the motherboard? If not, I’d also do it. Also, single-channel RAM seems to be affecting the game performance.

Tried out my friends' rigs with 2x8GB RAM at 3200 and it really improved my FPS numbers. On low settings I was averaging 172fps, mid 168.4, and ultra 148.8 with ray tracing—no DLSS used. It was amazing how much dual channel and memory speed made a difference. After that, I upgraded to my own 2x16GB 3600 ripjaws kit. Thanks for all the support!
