Hi there, I understand this might be confusing. I bought an Intel 9th gen ASUS motherboard from Amazon.sg, assuming the warranty would apply in Singapore. But it only covered issues in the US. Now my board isn’t working and I can’t return it. This isn’t the first time—it happened before when I bought another ASUS board two years ago from Amazon.us. Back then I was new to PCs and just used a “good pc” site without proper info. I also couldn’t get a return when it had problems. Since I don’t have any US contacts, I’m stuck in Singapore where only Intel 10th gen or newer boards are available online. I’m unsure if I should buy another board or upgrade to a different CPU and motherboard. What should I do?

You may reach out to ASUS customer support to inquire about authorized service centers in Singapore for your RMA issue. If none exist locally, consider contacting them in the US for assistance. Otherwise, you could face complications if no help is available.

I've reached out to support in both Singapore and the US, but they kept directing me to the US team even when I clarified my location needs. The Singapore team insisted I provide a US address for RMA, while the US team told me I couldn't get help without it. It seems I'm stuck.

Unless you purchased it from a nearby seller on Amazon SG, it seems like you might be in trouble. Refurbished motherboards are currently priced at over 100,000 SGD on Carousell.
