Warning: Avoid updating MSI B150M Bazooka BIOS to version 7982vIG.
The 7982vIG BIOS was probably released a couple of days ago. Avoid updating it, as it might damage your computer in the same way it did during mining. After downloading, I placed it on a flash drive and started the update in BIOS. It reached about 20% before the system restarted on its own. My motherboard is now nonfunctional and no longer covered by warranty.
Reach out to MSI for this BIOS update—it's a mistake they made, and they need to correct it. This is important because on this board you can't take out the SPI flash if something goes wrong.
Your recent support ticket has been received. Hopefully, the team will address it promptly.
I resolved the issue by using a guide I discovered online: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=269702.0. My PC powered on, restarted twice, and displayed the "Your BIOS is corrupted" alert. I opted for the older file, which worked as expected and successfully flashed. The system is now functioning normally. Great outcome!
During the update, my PC restarted while the BIOS wasn't fully loaded. I waited around five minutes before powering it off again. There was no visual indication at all. The main point is it now functions properly.
