Warning about security breach window.
When I start my laptop and log into Windows, a strange pop-up appears that won’t disappear unless I close it or dismiss it several times. I’m using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit and it’s connected to Skype—I can’t close the window while it’s open and it keeps flashing like Windows does when you try to minimize things. Can there be a way to hide it without clicking “yes”? And what happens if I do click “yes”? Edited November 17, 2017 by Crunchy Dragon Image wasn’t working properly
It’s asking about a file name that doesn’t have an extension, which can happen for various reasons like default settings or specific formatting.
Confusing issue: is the clock on your PC accurate? When I first used Skype, the time displayed changed unexpectedly, triggering that warning message.
Just a standard restart, since you haven’t used Skype much lately—back when Windows 8.1 was brand new.
It's the remote desktop feature Skype offers. I agreed to it earlier today just to check how it would work, but it hasn't appeared since then... It could be a problem that occurs when restarting Skype or my computer, which I did recently. No, I'm connecting from home normally.
