I'm evaluating these three laptops:
ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 G733ZW-XS96
Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16ARH7H
Lenovo Legion 5i Pro 16IAH7H
What are your thoughts? Are Lenovo better than Asus? Should I go with Intel or AMD? I'm aiming for something reliable for a long time.
(The Lenovo model with 5800H and 17" GPU is still working, but the 3060 has stopped functioning.)

CPU comparisons show that 12900H is indeed the quickest, though cooling conditions play a big role. The bigger 17-inch laptop could also lead in this scenario.

Are you planning to use the 3070Ti in each benchmark? All models are roughly priced around $2500.
16-inch screens on Lenovo devices run at 2560x1600 with 165hz, while the SCAR offers 2560x1440 at 240hz. Do the Lenovo models include two 1TB SSDs, whereas the SCAR has only one? The SCAR also supports Thunderbolt 4, which isn’t available on Lenovo machines—this is quite common, as they avoid licensing costs.
I don’t think a 3070Ti would exceed 165 FPS in AAA games, let alone 240 FPS, so the performance really depends on your gaming habits.

Examine the cooling systems.
Numerous laptop gamers report throttling issues.
Be prepared to experience reduced performance without throttling when connected to a power source during gaming.
Search reviews of the options and investigate the cooling systems.
Do you value the portability of a laptop?
Maybe a desktop could offer better value for similar performance.

I already own a desktop with a 5800X and an AA 3080ti, searching for something portable that will last me a while.

The Scar is positioned at 2399, the Intel Lenovo at 1899, and the AMD Lenovo at 1799. My main worry is the build and screen quality. Having used an HP EliteBook Workstation for seven years, I’m aiming for a laptop display with almost no light bleed. I plan to visit Microcenter, as all three models have single 1TB NVMe drives and 32GB DDR5 with 3070tis. The most intense game I’d likely play would be Cyberpunk, only occasionally. I’m mainly seeking something durable enough for about three to five years.

I don't believe a 240hz display makes sense for the kind of games you plan to play. I'd prefer the Lenovo Intel option, but I think I might not get a 3070ti then—I'd probably opt for a 3060. You can always use low resolution on a smaller screen without too many issues, but with a 27-inch desktop monitor that's different.

I was also thinking about opting for a 3060 because I saw somewhere that this model offers good value. It might be worth exploring it further at MicroCenter, potentially saving me some money.
