Which specific SSD are you employing? Altering the name won't affect its performance or yield additional advantages.

there is software that can modify any data on a sata ssd, but you need to purchase it separately. That's all; if you find any other options, let me know.

What is the latest brand name? It appears there isn't a standard generic application to modify hardware names. You might be seeking something specific. Doesn't seem to exist. Why are you interested in updating your brand?
