Hey there!
It's been quite a while since I've played video games actively. The last game I remember was "Commandos 2: Men of Courage" on a PC—it was a favorite of mine. It wasn't just about tanks and battles; it offered a tactical experience with great graphics for its era.

With my new computer, I'm eager to get back into gaming occasionally. I've started browsing different platforms like Steam and Origin. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything quite like Commandos with current graphics. There are so many games out there, and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the options. I'm not into ego shooters or monster/alien online strategy games. Commandos really kept me engaged for hours.

Could you help me find some suggestions that match my Commandos style with modern graphics?
I really appreciate your support!

There are numerous other real-time strategy titles, though most focus on distinct eras. Alternatives include Age of Empires, Stronghold, Command and Conquer, Halo Wars, Starcraft, Shadow Tactics, Blades of the Shogun, Ashes of the Singularity, and more.

Express your thoughts on earlier Assassin's Creed games but find Odyssey and Origins excellent. You prefer Odyssey especially. The unusual graphical intensity is present, yet the HardwareUnboxed Optimization guide improves its appearance and performance.

This intense horror game is challenging for players who enjoy that kind of experience. It operates exclusively in 1080p windowed mode.

This feudal Japanese world feels like a Commandos experience, really. Very intense, honestly.
