I just assembled my first PC: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sN7H3y. Initially, everything functioned properly; I could view the BIOS using my keyboard. After turning it off and back on, I booted into Windows and the monitor briefly came to life but then showed a black screen before returning to sleep. After disconnecting all components and waiting a short time, everything worked again—Windows loaded normally and the installation proceeded smoothly. Still, whenever I tried to power it off and turn it back on, the same issue occurred: the monitor would wake up, display nothing, and fall back into sleep. Could you assist me?

There are a few potential explanations here. One, which is relatively uncommon, suggests a hardware malfunction. It’s possible the issue was caught during quality control. If this is true, a warranty repair would be necessary. First, check that all connections are secure where they should be. Then verify if the device will power on properly—beep codes or lights may indicate problems. After that, inspect the installation of the windows and investigate any possible issues there. Your mention of restarting was unclear, so I’m not entirely sure what you were doing.
