I lost my Steam password, so I reset it. Then I bought a skin on CS:GO and saw the market wasn’t allowed to use it. The next day, when I tried to trade a skin with a friend, it said I couldn’t. Is there a way to fix this or at least make it work? Huh

When steam tells you to hold your breath, it means you must endure the moment

On that computer: No. However, I believe it might work on another one where you've already logged in. Still not entirely confident.

It's a safety measure, though it's not ideal right now, but I'm confident it's there to keep you safe.

I was just curious about any security measure that might help me bypass it—but I don’t think there is one.

It wasn’t as simple as the social club where Rockstar let anyone who cracked your password alter your email without a confirmation step. When GTA 5 launched, it didn’t require verification before the hacker could update their email to their own account, making recovery through email impossible.
