Hello, I'm interested in discussing betting on e-sports titles like League of Legends. As you're aware, these games host weekly professional tournaments such as LCS (you can find more info at http://eune.lolesports.com/). I follow most matches and understand team strengths well. Recently, I discovered that you can place wagers on these events through platforms like https://www.pinnaclesports.com/. I'd like to hear your thoughts on betting in e-sports. Many reviews suggest this site is trustworthy, though it's not accessible from the USA. The platform charges a small fee—around 4%—on e-sport bets. If you plan to start, your first deposit might be about 15 euros, with a bet size of roughly 1 euro per match. My goal isn't to make money from gambling; it's more about enjoying the games and learning about teams. Personally, my betting history has been limited to sites like http://csgolounge.com/, where I gradually lost around 15 dollars worth of skins. Back then, I was unfamiliar with CS:GO teams and often placed impulsive bets hoping for big payouts. I now avoid high-risk games like 90-10 matches and don't risk much on weaker teams. What are your views? Should I begin just to explore the experience? Any tips would be appreciated.

I really managed to earn around five dollars in skins on Lounge. I’m pretty hooked on it. I’m not sure why I’m hesitant to bet real money on a match, especially since some people are stopping others from placing wagers and just dropping the ball.

LCS is quite polished, and it seems unlikely someone would risk a single wager to decide their career. There have been cases where a CS:GO match was replayed, and players were aware of the result beforehand, leading them to place their best skins on the winner.

Pinnacle is widely recognized and has even supported Dota2 events before. Wagering on E-Sports isn't too different from betting on other forms of entertainment such as reality TV. Businesses operating in the Nordic regions—where office locations exist in countries with minimal or stricter gambling regulations—have been doing this for a long time.

E-sports differs greatly from traditional sports. When comparing top teams in a league, outcomes feel unpredictable because players can change the game flow or make small errors that swing results. Understanding a football match is simpler than figuring out the final score of games like League of Legends, CS:GO, or Dota 2. I wouldn’t bet on e-sports unless it’s a high-level match with strong odds—around 80% chance of winning. (Even then, consider your risk.) P.S.: Off topic – I used to bet on tennis and football for summer winnings, around 256€ from 100€ bets.

Absolutely correct. In football, a 4-0 lead rarely changes in the final ten minutes of the second half, whereas in League of Legends and Dota 2, a big mistake can quickly change the outcome. That’s why I think CS:GO could become the next major e-sport (if Valve decides to support it), since it offers clear scoring and is more engaging for viewers.

A man won a few hundred dollars from some pudge heads bets using his ti4 immortals. I tried it once, but I didn’t do it again lol.
