I'm not sure about this (since I think of myself as tech-savvy), but recently I faced trouble bringing an old fully functional system back online with a G850 2.9GHz (GA-B75-D3V). It began when I had to turn on virtualization in the BIOS. The machine kept switching on and off repeatedly, almost like it was having hiccups. The BIOS fail-safe didn't activate immediately, and clearing the BIOS didn't seem to fix the problem, making it feel like the system had just been bricked by selecting one option. Any thoughts on this?

Have you attempted disconnecting the device, pressing the power button briefly, and then taking out the CMOS battery to let it sit for some time? This method often resets the BIOS configuration—sometimes the jumper on older models fails due to lingering power.

Thanks for the update. It ran without power for nearly three hours and kept switching on and off even when powered. It felt like the system's BIOS got messed up after turning on that feature, but the safety mode didn't work for a long time before things went back to normal. Could you share any possible reasons for this behavior?

No one has any idea? A recent software update might help, or there could be a hardware problem.
