That's an interesting thought. With a high framerate and a fast monitor, the timing of your shots could become tricky. A sudden glitch might make it hard to track the opponent's exact position, which could definitely affect accuracy more than Vsync delays.
This observation is valid. Considering input lag, Vsync can be beneficial, particularly in games like Battlefield and other non-competitive first-person shooters. I've seen that using 144hz or 150fps with Vsync enabled in Hardline and BF4 makes me more effective compared to higher frame rates at 60hz.
I run it on my AMD PC in BF3, but it slows down noticeably. I keep the game running at around 59 FPS and use a high polling rate for the mouse to minimize lag.
