I encountered an issue where my laptop caps games at 30 frames per second. It seems this is linked to VSync settings. After adjusting them in the Nvidia control panel and re-enabling VSync, the game still runs at 30fps. However, when I try to turn it off again, the change doesn’t persist. Someone might be experiencing similar problems.

You must adjust the settings in the game menu. Otherwise, it won't function properly.

If the game lacks an option, you might explore alternatives or adjust your approach accordingly.

I haven't tried any games yet. Could you tell me which ones you're interested in?

Rogue Legacy and Dark Souls 2 are the primary games I've been focusing on.

You can adjust the frame rate in NVIDIA settings to conserve energy. Try connecting it, switching to high power mode, and observe the results.
