These boards are often available on the used market at a fraction of the cost, offering solid performance for a lower price. For my VR setup six months ago, I acquired an ASRock Z170 OC Formula (LN2 optimized) for around $40 on Craigslist, securing it quickly. At that price point, you can still find quality boards without spending much more.
