Still experiencing problems. Since the previous steps...
Changed GPU riser
Set GPU port to Gen4 then Gen3
Added PCIe USB extension card with powered hub
Turned off EXPO
Disabled PBO
Switched PSU (new NZXT C1200)
Restarted Windows again (downgraded to 22H2 from 24H2)
Ran without any overlay programs or Meta Oculus app installed...etc.
Ran without certain USB devices (haptics)
Still crashes.

I've performed OCCT stress tests and haven't managed to trigger a failure. Based on advice from ChatGPT, I've begun logging with LatencyMon and HWiNFO to detect any events.

Honestly, I'm at a new setup now. The only consistent parts of my system are:
Motherboard
RAM
SSD
Steering base unit
Monitor
VR headset

All other components—keyboard, mice, speakers—are different from when crashes started, and I've run two full Windows wipe operations. To be honest, just getting a new motherboard/ram/ssd package is enough.

I discovered a fix for my issue. It involved using the correct drivers from the motherboard site, and the problem has been resolved.

Fixed a lot of issues with iRacing help. Got it working with LatencyMon once sound latency was detected.

Holy moly! That is a total nightmare op. As an XR gamer with a Quest 3, I usually deal with far fewer serious problems. It's strange that the sound drivers fixed the issue for DanielDD, but maybe they could help with yours too.

Unfortunately I don't think so. Whilst I haven't had a crash since my last post, I'm having occasional stutters which follow similar symptoms but seem to recover.
I can see the driver spikes on LatencyMon. They happen in just normal usage of my PC. Bearing in mind that this is on a fresh windows reinstall (different version), I'm getting really stuck. I'm tempted to pick up a new motherboard next to see if that cures...
