The certificate on your router for IKE1 version has run out, and you’ve replaced it. Windows still reports the connection isn’t working. I’m not sure what’s causing the issue now. Unfortunately, I can’t help with travel plans or email access right now.

You require a VPN because of security concerns when using public networks. The idea of "coffee shop free wifi being insecure" has been around for a while, but it doesn’t reflect current practices.
