When I launch the AMD software, I notice my voltages stay above 1.3V during idle. Installing HWinfo didn’t help clarify things. The voltage never drops, so why is it happening? HWinfo might not be showing the right data or there could be another factor affecting it.
These Ryzen chips maintain a higher idle voltage and temperature, which is due to their boost algorithm. They preserve a steady idle voltage to enable rapid clock speed increases when needed, enhancing overall system performance. A 1.4v idle reading is typical for these processors.
