Voltage wont Change
I'm just starting out with overclocking right now. I successfully boosted my i5 3570k to 4.2ghz at 1.255V, but when I increased it to 4.3ghz it started to become unstable. I've tried raising the voltage without any improvement—it remains at 1.255V. Here are my system details: Intel i5 3570k, two GTX 760 2gb SLI cards, Corsair H60, 8GB RAM, Gigabyte UD4H Z77 motherboard, Coolermaster XM case, and Corsair HX 750.
Yes, it allows adjusting the voltage, but it doesn't actually alter it. It remains fixed at 1.255V.
Brodotron explains that the device allows adjusting the voltage, but it doesn't actually alter it—remaining at 1.255V. They ask about the method used to verify the voltage, noting that software tools like CPU-Z should be tested under stress before checking.
