The I7-11700k operates around 1.3 to 1.404 volts under typical loads, which seems acceptable for Rocket Lake with multi-core optimization. The readings you provided align closely with expected performance, though minor fluctuations are normal. The PSU appears to function well, maintaining stable voltage across various loads. Keep in mind that the numbers come from general observations and may not reflect every real-world scenario.

It’s a brand-new chip, so there aren’t many examples to reference. However, if it’s a more advanced processor, they were generally known for voltage spikes even under different loads.

High idle voltage occurs frequently. When no current flows (no load), it doesn't really matter; what matters is the voltage under load.

Using my settings with inc loadline calibration keeps me running at a higher voltage than the actual load voltages. It looks like standard behavior.

So what I think I'm picking up here is that there isn't much rocket lake specific information yet, but with powerful modern CPUs voltage spikes and high idle voltage is common and more or less typical operation. That's good news Ill stop worrying about it, but Ill probably wait for more info on rocket lake overclocking before doing anything more than some gentle ram and cache OC. Things have come a long ways since Ivy Bridge, lol
