Hello everyone, I'm trying to move a folder together with a PDF and a Bak.file into VmWare on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise. I'm confused because in my school setup (Windows 7), I can just plug the drive in and drag folders between the virtual machine and the main OS without any issues. On my own PC (Windows 8.1), however, I can't connect external drives or move files from my desktop. Do anyone have suggestions or solutions? Thanks.

Did you miss the guest section during setup? I didn’t notice any guest settings, so I’ll start with the admin option.

It looks like trying to drag or email won’t help. So we just had to resort to copying and pasting. Thanks for your patience and support—vmware doesn’t seem to work well with those methods!
