Avoid VLC and CCCP as they don't integrate well together because VLC relies solely on its own codecs. Opt for MPC-HC, which now features LAV built-in. For better performance, consider madVR with a powerful GPU.

MPC HC combined with ReClock, Lav filters, and XySubfilter delivers the top video player performance. The newest MadVR version is outstanding. The NNEDI3 filter in MadVR significantly improves video image quality compared to enabling 4x AA in games. Check out this discussion: http://community.futuremark.com/forum/sh...-to-NNEDI3

Never truly understood the value of reclocking. NNEDI3 needs a powerful GPU. Even a 760 struggles with NNEDI3 and 480p to 1080p at 60fps
