I though it would be great to take my many short DVD skits and execrpts and put them all on a hard drive.
Did it all of yesterday and was impressed at my productivity!
I played them today and guess what? There's NO AUDIO!!!
I tried the many "fixes' from Google searches, but of course, they're not tom'sHARDWARE certified!
Thanks very much for your help!

Play one of the videos in VLC, navigate to tools media information, proceed to the codec section, and inform us whether any audio codec appears. If no audio was captured, confirm there is none present.

This message indicates that the audio problem has been fixed after the VLC update, but the video now appears pixelated. It suggests a trade-off where one issue is resolved while another becomes noticeable.

Have you rebooted your computer following the update? Please try and launch it once more.

Get a distinct video player and observe if the pixelation persists.
