Hello everyone, I recently purchased a preassembled PC that functioned well initially but began displaying visual glitches while using Chrome. This issue first appeared on YouTube and seems to happen whenever a video plays or is paused, especially when scrolling down or minimizing full-screen content. In games so far, no such problems have arisen, though I haven’t noticed any in graphics. Recording with OBS didn’t capture the issue, possibly because it only records the Chrome window. After updating drivers, performance dropped noticeably—consistent 60 FPS became sporadic, sometimes dropping to around 50 FPS. Occasionally I felt stutters, but the FPS stayed steady. I’m unsure if this is linked to the driver update or an older version. I attempted to revert drivers, but they weren’t up to date at the time. Temperatures during intense gaming stayed normal, with the GPU never exceeding 67-70°C even under heavy load. Other components operated within typical ranges. I ran 3DMark without seeing any artifacts. Support suggested the display cable might be faulty and provided a replacement HDMI cable, but the problem persisted. Turning off hardware acceleration eliminated flickering temporarily, though it would return once enabled again. The occurrences can take 10-15 minutes of scrolling and usually happen only once, sometimes a repeat shortly after. They recommended returning the GPU as it likely failed. I’m seeking guidance to confirm whether the GPU is defective, as I don’t want it returned after further testing with the issue still present. The visuals are mostly black and white, sometimes covering a quarter of the screen in black with white squares, or half the screen going dark, occasionally just a corner. Thank you for your help!

Specs: i5 13600k RTX 4070, Asus Dual OC, 16GB Corsair Vengeance 3600mhz, ASUS TUF GAMING motherboard, 750W Corsair PSU, Windows 11 Home.
