I don’t understand where this problem originated, and I’ve extensively researched potential solutions online. Suddenly, distant information becomes vividly clear. This is particularly pronounced in Skyrim, but appears to be occurring across numerous other games as well.

My system specifications are as follows:

Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.00GHz (49°C), Haswell 22nm Technology
Memory: 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 1066MHz (11-11-11-30)
Motherboard: MSI Z97-GD65 GAMING (MS-7845)
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (EVGA) – 4095MB (52°C)
Storage: 931GB Seagate ST1000DM003-1CH162 (SATA), 223GB SanDisk SDSSDHII240G (SSD), 1863GB Hitachi HUA723020ALA641 (SATA)
Optical Drives: Multiple DiscSoft Virtual SCSI CdRom Devices and an ATAPI iHAS124 E
Audio: NVIDIA High Definition Audio

My Speccy scan indicates that my hardware is functioning correctly. I’ve experimented with numerous driver updates, modifications, and configuration adjustments. I’ve also attempted installing the games across all three of my hard drives (two HDDs and one SSD). Despite encountering similar issues reported by others on this platform – including a previously marked “SOLVED” thread – no viable resolutions have been found. I've even performed a complete flash reinstall. I am considering replacing my RAM modules. Can anyone shed light on the cause of this problem?

The term "texture pop" doesn’t seem accurate; “severely low-detail levels” combined with “texture distortion” might be more fitting. The foliage and landscape appear dreadful even at a short range, followed by an abrupt appearance of detail when you approach closely, even on maximum settings. Distant mountains exhibit flickering.

I've encountered numerous reports of individuals replacing nearly every component in their PCs to still experience this same problem. Across various online discussions, people are upgrading graphics cards without resolving anything, only to be disappointed watching gameplay footage featuring older cards – similar to theirs – yet free from these issues.

It’s my strong conviction that the issue isn't related to the GPU; perhaps it lies with the CPU or RAM. I would consider completely erasing my hard drives and solid-state drives and performing a fresh installation, though this represents a significant undertaking just to restart Skyrim with the same persistent malfunction.

Despite enjoying my computers, instances like these highlight the limitations of my understanding – it’s essentially amateur at best. I intend to create a video demonstrating this problem shortly, aiming for greater visibility and hopefully discovering a reliable solution.
