Malwarebytes provides regular scans either monthly or after each program installation. For Windows security essentials, it includes built-in protection and requires no setup time.
I believe it hinges on how you browse. Visiting familiar, reputable sites usually keeps malware at bay, though it’s wise to stay prepared. My approach includes using Microsoft Security Essentials for basic protection—it’s straightforward and lightweight. For deeper scans, I also run Malwarebytes, which is more robust in detecting threats. Avast is another option I’ve heard well, but I haven’t tried it myself. If you notice suspicious activity, a tool like Spybot Search and Destroy can be very helpful. Overall, staying cautious and proactive seems to be the most effective strategy. Prevention definitely works best.
