I've been using an Asus G752VS since 2017 and have noticed frequent errors in my event viewer list. Almost every event is labeled with ID 41 Kernel Power. Recently, my computer would start but then shut down abruptly. The power button light would flash continuously. After a stressful 45 minutes, I managed to get it to boot normally by keeping the power button pressed for a minute several times until it worked. If this issue is related to the error, I'm unsure, but I'd like a solution and more information. Please find the event details if anyone can assist. Thanks.

Update your post with the complete hardware specifications of the Asus G752VS you own. Also, check the Reliability History/Monitor for a clearer understanding of any issues. The timeline might help identify recurring patterns.

In general, a device around six years old is likely nearing its end of life, with components beginning to fail.
More frequent and diverse errors suggest power-related problems.
Was your original battery still functioning? Do you notice any charging difficulties?

Sorry, thanks for the feedback.
Details:
Windows 10 Home 64-bit Edition
17.3"
1920 x 1080 (Full HD)
Intel Core i7 (6th gen) 6700HQ / 2.6 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 - 8 GB GDDR5 SDRAM
Memory: 16 GB - Speed: 2133 MHz / PC4-17000
Chipset: Mobile Intel CM236 Express
Storage: 256 GB SSD M.2 PCIe + 1 TB HDD SATA 6Gb/s / 7200 rpm
Power: 8-cell lithium ion 88 Wh
AC-adapter: AC 120/230 V (50/60 Hz) / 230 watt, 19.5 V, 11.8 A
I’ll check the reliability record once I can get the laptop back in operation.
Regarding the battery, there are no charging problems and it’s the original unit included. It can be replaced, though not easily; I’d need to disassemble the whole machine. If that’s necessary, I’ll proceed.

In the reliability history it matched the event reporter's account. The laptop shut down unexpectedly. It looks like, though I'm not certain, that once the device was disconnected from the power adapter for a few minutes, it functioned properly. When I encounter the black screen of death, after pressing the power button several times, the laptop restarts normally.
