I’ve been working in Premiere Pro on a 2015 MacBook Pro with a 13-inch Retina display. My editing sessions have become less smooth lately, especially when using templates and other features. I’m considering either building my own system or purchasing an MSI P65-1084. That unit includes an i7-9750H. Here’s the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TN4C5VZ/ref...iFbVQ1EK06 If you’re looking for a reliable budget CPU and motherboard with strong performance, let me know!

I don't have a specific budget or country information. Could you provide those details?

Your total budget for the whole system is $1,800 or less, and you're based in the US.

Given the funds available, it makes sense to hold off and monitor upcoming GPU and CPU releases. Should you prefer, you can proceed with building now.

Sure! For the Ryzen 7 3700X, look for a motherboard with integrated Wi-Fi built-in. This will save space and ensure connectivity without extra components.

Sadly I haven’t found any options with WiFi at that cost, but you could always install a PCIe or USB WiFi card.

Thanks in advance! I think I’ll choose the PC instead of the laptop.
