my lenovo machine has vega 8 graphics, which isn’t top-notch but functions adequately for simple games. Over the last couple of years it’s been quite slow, especially compared to a newer intel uhd 620 laptop that handles most titles smoothly. When i first got it in 2020, it could play roblox at full settings and even 60fps at low settings. Now it barely manages 3 fps on the same settings. I’m wondering if there’s a way to restore its performance without reinstalling windows. The specs are decent for an office build but it was built more for basic use, which explains why it feels so outdated now.

Well, I understand that Roblox has upgraded its visuals in a recent patch and keeps enhancing them. It seems your system might be lagging behind. Have you experimented with different titles? You only referenced Roblox and Far Cry 5, so perhaps trying other games could help. :3

Call of Duty previously loaded smoothly, but now consistently fails to start. Far 3 once ran at high settings with 60 frames per second, whereas it's now extremely shaky at around 40 fps even on the lowest options.
