I finally configured my system at home with multiple computers. While using the router, I only received a 100Mbit connection speed (up to 12mb per second). After installing a 24-port gigabit switch from Planet and Networking, the performance dropped significantly. I purchased new Cat6 SFTP cables for all connections, but my transfer speeds remain very low—around 1mb per second. I checked both PCs involved in transfers, and they were running Windows 10 with the same link speed reported: "1000/1000 mbps link speed." Description: Intel® Ethernet Connection (2) I218-V Status: Operational Maximum transmission unit: 1500 Link speed (Receive/Transmit): 1000/1000 (Mbps) DHCP enabled: Yes Network name: Network Network category: Private Connectivity (IPv4/IPv6): Connected to Internet / Connected to unknown network Any hint about what this means?

I'm processing this request. Please confirm if you'd like me to handle a single large file or several smaller ones, and whether you need your network topology included.

You're looking to move large files like 500MB to 2GB. That's a common need! Are you using a specific method or tool for this transfer?

Yes, I’d install IPERF on two of your systems and run a test. If the results indicate full gigabytes, it could cause file-sharing problems in Windows 10.

I don’t manage to launch hyper on my computer, even when running it with admin rights. I’ve discovered another application doing the job, but from a hardware standpoint everything seems fine. I also tried Teracopy, but it didn’t work either.

It might relate to window file sharing problems. Consider installing an FTP server or using SMB1/2, which could cause slower speeds.

You've saved the FTP program and are experiencing speeds between 50-80 Mbps.
