Very loose front panel, power switch problem.
My computer’s front panel power switch is extremely wobbly. Every day I have to force open the case just to get it to work. It seems the switch isn’t holding its place, which is unusual since it’s only been around for eight years. I suspect the issue might be more than just wear and tear—maybe the connection point on the motherboard has deteriorated over time. I remember when I first bought the machine it was quite tricky to get it running smoothly. The switch feels loose enough that even a light touch doesn’t work well. I’m not sure why it’s designed this way, but other cables seem to fit easily and stay secure. When I finally disconnected the front panel switches, the power button stopped responding unless I gave it a firm push. It’s been tough to get everything back together without damaging anything. I’ve had to resort to using extra cables and restarting things repeatedly just to keep it running. It’s frustrating because these switches should be reliable, yet they feel so unstable now.
