Very Big FPS Drops
Very Big FPS Drops
Hi everyone
I've been using my PC for a few months now and have faced some bothersome problems with frame rates in certain games. The first issue was with Call of Duty Warzone, where I noticed regular drops from about 90fps to as low as 20fps without any notice. I checked all the graphics settings to their minimum, but the problem persisted. The same happened in Forza Horizon 3, causing major FPS fluctuations that made both games difficult to play.
My system specs are: Ryzen 5 3600, MSI Radeon RX 5500xt, 8GB DDR4, MSI B450 Tomahawk Max, and an EVGA 600BR PSU.
Any further questions would be welcome.
I'm new to computers, so any advice would be really helpful.
It depends on the quality of the returns policy. A second identical unit might function well but isn't assured. To minimize risks, a 2x8gb setup is recommended. For a Ryzen 3600, a 2x8gb configuration with speeds between 3000mhz and 3600mhz would be optimal.
It appears to be consistently very high, often exceeding 80%. Would you consider replacing it?
Consider whether purchasing the identical stick you previously bought is best, or opting for a pre-assembled set.
