Vertical lines running across the bottom of the display
My laptop began showing some dark streaks at the bottom of the display, occasionally appearing when I power it on but vanishing after a short time and sometimes returning. They vanish briefly by flashing and gradually returning to normal. Occasionally more than one appears and the same pattern repeats... they fade after a while. Usually this indicates the screen is broken or failing. It might also stem from a loose cable—an easy check is to lift and lower the computer case to observe if the display changes. If nothing shifts, the issue is likely with the panel itself. For touchless screens, locating and replacing it should be straightforward.
