The Steam version of GTA IV isn't launching properly. It opens to the Social Club login page instead, and the game itself doesn't appear. The Task Manager shows no GTA IV process running. Possible fixes include checking for updates, clearing cache, or trying a different installation method.

Occasionally the setup tool skips adding games for Windows Live. If it isn't listed among your programs, you can get it from the provided link: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Live/PC/DownloadClient

Windows 10 could have made your drive slower? Try defragmenting or optimizing it.

I put it in, but the Windows part was behaving weirdly. I’ll try again tomorrow. I’m using an SSD, so don’t run defragmentation. My SSD is running smoothly and I’ve already made some optimizations.
