Your ASUS Prime B550M-K with a Ryzen 5 5600 is working fine even though the BIOS version needed is 2603. It seems the seller might have provided an outdated or incorrect CPU.

there's nothing wrong, but some things might not work because the cpu maybe wasnt released when this bios version was out. you should update it tho

However, many users reported issues booting the system without Ryzen 5 5600X. They suggested updating the BIOS to support an older CPU before installing a newer one. Your setup could still function if the BIOS update was successful.
