Version 2.2 with latest improvements
Star Citizen Patch 2.2.0b Alpha has been deployed to PTU and is now open for player evaluation. In this early stage, access will be limited to a select group of testers, which we plan to broaden later. We have also raised the instance limit for Crusader from 16 to 24 on PTU to collect performance metrics. Your launcher should display “2.2.0-324226” as the client version. It is advised that players remove their USER folder for the Public client after applying the patch, especially if you notice any strange graphical glitches or crashes during loading. The default installation path for the USER folder is C:\Program Files\Cloud Imperium Games\StarCitizen\Public. Please consult our current FAQ on 2.2.0 PTU Known Issues and utilize the Issue Council section of the Community site to report bugs or contribute player feedback.
Important Notes: The Klaus & Werner ATT4 energy rifle isn’t currently assigned to players who eliminate a Level 5 Criminal. Using the Holotable in the Revel & York hangar may cause the client to freeze. Returning to a ship with realistic physics is problematic, leading to issues like permanent ragdoll or instant death. We suggest using a ship with a cockpit if available, or trying the test Sabre.
Updates and Fixes for Star Systems: Resolved audio problems when activating/deactivating a Comms Array across the solar system. Addressed spawning issues in the EVA return to ships with interior effects. Increased asteroid density in Yela.
Game Systems: Players will be removed from servers if they have a criminal level of 5 and self-kill. Fixed spawning traps in the Crusader class. Boosted asteroid counts in Yela.
First Person Enhancements: Improved Holotable display for multiple ships, including Mustang, Aurora, and Super Hornet models. Resolved texture issues with P4-AR from any angle.
User Interface Improvements: Fixed UI update errors when toggling Comms Array. Removed persistent quest notification text in AR (F10). Technical fixes included several client and server crashes.
It's really impressive how quickly the a and b patches were generated.

We have also raised the instance cap for Crusader from 16 to 24 on PTU to collect performance metrics. Your launcher should display “2.2.0-234858” when installed on the public version. It is advised that players remove their USER folder after patching, especially if you notice any strange graphical glitches or crashes during loading. The default installation path for the Public client is typically found at C:\Program Files\Cloud Imperium Games\StarCitizen\Public. Important Notes: The Klaus & Werner ATT4 energy rifle is showing reduced texture detail in-game. All players on the server receive the Klaus & Werner ATT4 energy rifle. Opening the Holotable in the Revel & York hangar may cause the client to freeze. The Gemini LH-86 Combustion Pistol cannot be collected from a player’s bedroom. Upon attempting pickup, the character’s arm animation will twist oddly and the gun will hover at waist level.
Updates & Fixes: Star Systems Game Systems – Resolved texture conflicts near Jobwell in ArcCorp. Fixed AR mode name display issues for medpacks in the Medical Unit (F10). Resolved problems where mobiGlas couldn’t be viewed with FPS weapons. Game Systems: Addressed quantum travel target visibility problems for Gladius and Hornet. Updated ship values in Arena Commander.
Ships: Fixed grey paint on all Auroras and missing detail levels for Avenger’s launchers. Adjusted Sabre rotation speed to match Hornets more closely. Reduced default shield strength for the Vanguard Warden slightly. Allowed Revenant Gatling ammunition on Mantis Gatling.
First Person Enhancements: Enabled camera rotation so players can view their character’s neck area clearly. Fixed EVA thruster disappearance in Crusader. Improved helmet flashlight visibility in the field of view. Smoothed vehicle exit animations to prevent jerking or snapping.
Technical Highlights: Resolved crashes caused by assertion errors and CryAnimation issues. Addressed multiple server and client instability problems.
They're performing exceptionally well with this speed, and I'm eager to try the sabre.
Hey @lock545, how are you? I noticed your BR stats—pretty cool guy. They seem to be keeping us content.
It's moving quickly now, just one more lap...keep going, don't stop.
Great news! With four vessels, I've finally spotted one in the hangar I can see.
