Hello, you've noticed many about Windows 10 Pro OEM keys being sold very low prices. I discovered another local source and wonder how the seller obtains them—they seem to be sold even cheaper than what I see on Kinguin. The catch is their rules require the key to be used within 48 hours after purchase or else validity isn't guaranteed. This leads me to ask: Can you verify a Windows 10 key's status without activating it on a machine? I understand OEM keys can be reused or reactivated via old SUI 04 phone activation, but I've had issues with that in the past and prefer keeping a known valid key rather than an activated one. Also, a web-based "key-checker" from Microsoft seems questionable, though I'm curious if anyone has another method to confirm validity. Regards

There are inexpensive keys available that aren't authorized and might become active soon due to frequent thefts. For a genuine key, invest in the $100 price tag—it's worth it compared to the risks of cracking Windows.

Not always applicable to one case. OEM keys are permissible since they are bought in large quantities by system integrators from multiple sources, including Microsoft directly. Of course, there exist illegal sellers offering invalid keys, just as with any product. Whether system integrators provide them ready or separately doesn't affect their legality. You're limited by the OEM rules (such as support availability), and that's what you accept for the price. Now let's move to the main question—does another option exist?

Legit OEM keys cost around $80. If you encounter issues, it’s likely a breach of MS ToS. You might want to check the source where you download ISOs—some sites ask for a CD key to provide links.
