Preparing for your move, I'm reviewing the setup to confirm everything aligns. The CAT6E/CAT7 cables are in place, upgraded to RJ45 initially, and the Ubiquiti devices will operate in basic mode. I reached out to Ubiquiti for confirmation, which they agreed supports. If needed, a controller on a Raspberry Pi could be a backup. No major oversights here. Networking.pdf

You don’t see any problems with the plan. It looks like you already possess most of the equipment from the first two versions. I’d suggest beginning with the dream machine special edition and expanding from there. Your current configuration has many switches, so it’s more efficient to rely on additional Ethernet drops and keep network hardware centralized. In practice, I’d likely use just two switches—one 10GB and one 2.5GB PoE—unless pulling extra wiring becomes necessary.

It's a bummer only when you're in the USA with empty walls that let in more runs. I'm in Europe in a brick house—we were updating and I managed to create some channels through the bricks, then installed Ethernet there. After that, the builders added drywall on top. I don't have access or the means to run any cables anymore. "Raw" and covered in drywall & messy

Keep the Google Wi-Fi access point set as the main router to activate mesh functionality. Otherwise, each device would function as its own access point, and Unify would report unauthorized devices.
