Your 5800x3d has just arrived to swap in for the 3600 Asus x570-p motherboard. The BIOS was updated to the latest version, which reset everything and cleared the old overclock settings on the CPU. Just to be sure, are there any other steps I should take before installing it? I’m pretty confident it’s fine but wanted a quick sanity check.

Make sure you have the newest BIOS installed, then simply remove the old CPU and install the new one. That should work fine.
