I need a way to automatically check if the internal and external connections are working without manual monitoring. I'm looking for a free Windows solution that can run on both sides of the system.

You might try ping plotter. Likely one of the top choices for tracking drops precisely.

I've been operating this for about five hours with no drops. I kept YouTube playing to add some network stress, but I'm curious—should I increase the load with something more intense? Question part 2: is there a method to mimic network strain? I understand doing manual uploads, but I'd prefer a more automated approach.
