Specs...my wifes pc is a Powerspec pc with AMD ryzen 5 3600 processor with 16gb of Ram running Win 10 Pro. It has Realtek PCIE GB ethernet controller. My pc is custom pc, that i have been slowly upgrading piece by piece. i have a Gigabyte Auros x570 Master Motherboard that has both GB and 2.5gb ethernet ports. i have an older AMD ryzen 3 2200 which i will be upgrading eventually. i have 40GB of Ram and im running Win 10 Home. Ive tried both ethernet ports on my motherboard just to rule that out but same result.

It seems unclear how you reached 40GB of RAM, but it’s probably not impacting your internet speed. Both devices are linked via Ethernet, which suggests the problem lies in software.

I own two 16GB modules at 3200MHz each and two 4GB modules also at 3200MHz. I plan to swap out the 4GB units for another configuration of 16GB, bringing the total RAM up to 64GB. This upgrade is scheduled soon. I may need to reinstall Windows to determine if it resolves the problem. It would help to list all installed software so I can gradually restore everything and identify the cause.
