I don't know who I can rely on! My motherboard says the CPU temperature is between 40 - 43°C and Corsair Link shows it's 29-31°C, but I use a liquid cooler. Should I trust the motherboard or the programs?
- CPU i7 6700K
- Motherboard Asus z170a
- Corsair liquid cooler H100i v2

The software is accessing temperatures from the same sensors used by your motherboard. It's possible one or both could be faulty. Alternatively, the issue might stem from defective sensors.
